No its the complete opposite actually. More 3 characters aren't going to start popping up out of nowhere. Every 3 character combination has already been claimed for quite some time already.

If what you're saying is true, than 2 letter gamertags would be worth like 300, but they aren't.

Ok but why would it decrease in value is what I'm asking. You say they will become more common, but I'm arguing that they will not become anymore common then they are right now. Every 3 character is taken already, so they won't become more common, but they will become more rare since NO ONE can just make one. At the same time 4 letters will begin being claimed, which will make 3 characters worth even more.

Yes but that doesn't make them less rare, cause you can't make one at dashboard right now. That decreases the price of them if theres more for sale, but they still maintain the rarity factor.

Well onsite for both. And probably doubling in 2 years.

I remember selling about 6 3 chars in a bundle for $20 a year or two ago...
Now they're being sold ~$40 a piece.

So, you never really know what they'll be worth in the future, but the prices will definitely go up.

thats funny I got 2 one 1 3 letter and 1 3 char for 15$ ITunes.
