I agree,

Because people will have more and more, and eventually they'll become normal
 
How would they drop? If anything they would go up but very slowly. In a couple years, 4 letters will end up costing a little.

there rare currently, hence the price of them being $40-50 depending on the (letter number letter) system, but I agree, they'll end up being something you'll see daily soon.

No its the complete opposite actually. More 3 characters aren't going to start popping up out of nowhere. Every 3 character combination has already been claimed for quite some time already.

If what you're saying is true, than 2 letter gamertags would be worth like 300, but they aren't.

Ok but why would it decrease in value is what I'm asking. You say they will become more common, but I'm arguing that they will not become anymore common then they are right now. Every 3 character is taken already, so they won't become more common, but they will become more rare since NO ONE can just make one. At the same time 4 letters will begin being claimed, which will make 3 characters worth even more.

Yes but that doesn't make them less rare, cause you can't make one at dashboard right now. That decreases the price of them if theres more for sale, but they still maintain the rarity factor.

That's the point I'm trying to make. If there isn't enough of something, and people want it, it will cost something no matter what.
