1600x900 vs 1920x1080

I've heard arguments for both sides, people say that 1920x1080 on a 14" is a waste of money while others argue that it's one of the best investments you can get, there's also multiple debates over 17"s as well.

Personally, I think you're better off getting 1920x1080 for any laptop as you can lower it to 1600x900 anytime you want, however you wouldn't be able to bump up 1600x900 to a 1920x1080 whenever you wanted.

I recently ordered a 17" laptop and had a 1600x900 screen on it, however I cancelled the order and re-submitted it with a 1920x1080 screen because of the difference it'll make gaming and when watching movies.

I don't watch TV, I only use my laptop for like Netflix and BlueRays, so it made more sense to get a higher quality for a 17"
