I recently swapped my gamertag and lost my 10 year helmet. Is there a way that I can transfer my helmet from my old account to my new one?

Does license transfer work?
 
No. You can't use avatar items on other accounts than the one you downloaded on.
 
Honestly, I have no idea. I can't license transfer until 2 weeks more :/. I thought LC was only for like Map packs though?
 
I don't think there is anyway for you to transfer avatar items :/
