Note: dates are not exact and probably not even accurate.

It all started in 2007 when I was in 5th or 6th grade and was around 10.

The computer, that was the year about where I started to use it a lot more.

"Hey Daniel, have you played this game RuneScape, it's amazing!" my friend told me, or something between those lines. "No, what is it? How I play it?" same thing. A chat between two kids about a game started, nothing special.
Later that day I went to runescape.com and tried to play it, what happened? Nothing. I couldn't get past the Tutorial Island, reason? I didn't know english, or at least, didn't know enough. As a frustrated young boy, the next day I told my friend that that game sucked and that it was terrible, he laughed and explained what I had to do, I had to right click the rock and click "prospect".

I continued to play the game every once in a while, until I was in 7th or 8th grade that was when I quit it. But I've to say that with RuneScape, is how I learned most of the basics of english, reading text and talking to other people.
I started playing some RSPS, the first RSPS I played was CrisisX, it had its problems but it was good anyways. I met some people and made a friend, he told me about this program that would play for him RS, guess it? Yep, RSBot. From that moment is when I started with forums; the rsbot forum, I learned a lot of bad things from it. In it, I'd see all these people posting things such as "loot from keylogger", they would post a picture of the account and write their username and "RSBot/FuckJagex". I was curious about what FuckJagex was, so I searched it on Google and found the forum. At first I joined for the dumps (accounts and auths for the NeXuS client), but later as I browsed the forum I found myself posting and contributing more until I finally learned what were those so called "keyloggers" and "RATs". This was around late 2009.

Now let's go back in time a little bit, my first encounter with a RAT was about April in 2008. I had downloaded a "hacked client" from someone that had spammed it in the forum. Myself being young and knowing nothing, even though the AV popped up, downloaded and executed the "client". My mouse started to move randomly and many programs started to close, then a chat window came up, luckly the person behind it was a bad person at all. He told me how I shouldn't download things that I'm not sure if they'll work or not. He then proceeded to uninstall the server from my pc.

Meanwhile in FuckJagex, I used for first time a keylogger, it was Classical's keylogger, which was amazing. I'd check logs everyday and get some RSGP, I couldn't be more happy.

Time passed, I continued to use keyloggers and failed many times trying to set up a RAT, went to many different forums and play RS like once every month, and bot on it for 10 hours daily. Until one day FuckJagex was shutdown and I didn't know where to go while using the computer, back to RSBot? No, find another forum.

Are you reading this? Post a smiley face as a reply. More time passed until one day someone in MSN asked me if I could join this forum called "Rune Revolution", it was a cool forum, new, few members and growing, and active. It was amazing (and still is) until it merged with RuneGear. At first I didn't like the idea of it. But as I started to post here and talk to some people, I started to like this forum more and more.

I kept coming to RuneGear daily and post as much as I could. I was no longer a leecher and my english was better now. Now, after 1 month of time spent in this (and more to come), I find myself writing this thread being my post number 1,500.

Now, that's the story of how everything started (around RuneScape) and how I'm here.

Thanks everyone for making my time here a good time.

Nice post Daniel, look how far your English has come along.

Thanks. I actually learned from school but I basically put everything on practice with RS.

Grats on 1,500

Being HQ is a rule here
. And well, there isn't any rules on Skype/MSN lolo

Thanks for sharing. It is cool that you were able to pick up a second language simply because of a game. It almost makes me wish that some games that I played weren't in English so that I could learn a different language easier. (Not now, but would of been nice when I was younger).

Anyways, grats on your 1,500 post.

Saying Grats is HQ daniel gtfo my thread.

Seems like the only people that actually read it were BF3Dreadnaut and Deathcrow.

Then you are bad at directions =p. He said somewhere in there to make a smiley face if you are reading it. lol

Oh I completely ignored it and then kept reading, then read the posts. I ha no intention of posting until he said no one read it, that's why.

Very nice, congrats on 1500 posts!
