Which political system do you think a socialist economy would work best in?
I kind of think that Marx's ideas were flawed as well, but I think with revision and new theory, they could be successful.
The 3/5ths compromise only dealt with slaves, not free black men.
It was also only referring to the use of African Americans slaves to calculate the amount of representatives and other similar things related to government.[hr]
That's not the point he is trying to make with this thread.
I believe that socialism is only plausible as a road to Marxism.
A government that followed a socialist economic regime would really only work on a small scale economy that was already thriving or doing well.
I don't have much more to say about socialism, until someone else posts something that...
I didn't say that your solution was wrong.
I'm saying that your deduction isn't satisfying my curiosity.
Saying that there is no meaning of life, because there are multiple possible solutions, makes no sense. How can there be a limit on answers if there isn't a definite solution?
I don't know that anyone can or should influence your belief in regards to religion.
It is wrong in every sense of the action. (Unless you were following a religion that was completely disprovable/disprovable beyond most doubt.)
I never said that I had an opinion at this time. I could think it over and get back to you.
PS: If you're talking about making fun of you, you mistake my way of speaking with the way trolls/flamers use sarcasm/rhetorical questions and/or criticism.
Do you not understand the point of the question?
If there was only one meaning and it applied to everyone, then this question wouldn't be a question of philosophy.
PS: For being labeled a Thinker, you're not so good at thinking.
You know what I find funny?
People who try their hardest to ignore what's happening.
To which I replied:
If that's really as hard to understand as you make it seem to be, I'll explain it again.
- His soul was made from Gods.
- His body was made from Mary.
His body was the same...
A purpose would imply a point, not a meaning.
I'm pretty sure I explained that already.
Also, read the thread before you post.
We are not talking about individuals. If it involves religion or anything that only a select group experience, it in not a valid solution.
Do you think people would...
RE: Unnoficial Discussion #2
Yes, but you don't have to take every human's opinion into account.
We're trying to come up with a general, yet broad, solution.
It's like this for everyone, I believe.
I don't think it's that big of a deal, though. =/
The most likely answer is that the person that made the skin didn't anticipate the use of transparent avatars.[hr]
It's because of the transparency.
A solid avatar would cover the face.
How many times does I have to say this...
I've said it a lot on HF and I'll say it again here.
- The Apocalypse doesn't mean the end of the world. It means, the revealing of a great truth. (Just to get that out of the way.)
- The Mayan calendar is a circle. It does not end, the Mayan's long...
