I spend a lot of time on my computer every day. It probably varies between 2-4 hours. I usually play games or search the internet. I also watch funny videos. I take breaks all the time and do other things. The only effect it has on me is that I am having a lot of fun.

Facebook is really great for communicating with friends. One easy way is to just write on their wall. You could also send them a direct message if the chat doesn't work.

I think Gmail is best for email. It has very few advertisements and can control the spam very well. It also has a nice chat feature.

I don't text nearly as much as when I first got a texting phone. I probably only text about 10 times a day unless I have a big conversation with someone.

I agree that the iPads have been really expensive. Every wants cheaper, faster, and better products. It's going to be hard to do all 3 of those things.
