My join date has no meaning in this matter. A reply saying "Thank you" and only that, may be low quality. But a post saying, "Thank you for this method. I really enjoy blah blah blah" isn't. There's almost always a way to expand and elaborate onto a post to make in non-LQ...

It would be necessary to post to thank someone if kudo's was removed. Then you would deem it necessary to post. Your point is completely invalid.

If someone appreciates something, then they can leave a reply. Making it so they have to leave a reply also improves activity of the forum, while bumping the thread.

I believe "kudoing" should be removed. It doesn't help anything at all. I see absolutely no use for it. If someone else has an argument against it, I'd happily hear it. Imho, kudos are completely useless and there's no point for them.

Go to your local PC store and purchase a windows 7 installation disk. (Or torrent it....) then insert the disk, restart your computer and at the screen showing your computer's manufacturer, hit F12 repeatedly until it asks for the boot media. Choose the disk. Then follow installation...

Do you have .NET 4.5 installed? Are you running Windows 7 or Windows 8?

Try running the program as administrator. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling it, making sure etrcap is installed with it. Might help if you post the error in english.
