Norton is one of the worst Antivirus there is so I wouldn't recommend it. IF you still need one : do you want a free or a paid Antivirus ? What are your computer specs ?

@Fade : Looks like it's not just only on my side then. From what I can tell, it looks like the cache on their end isn't refreshing when someone checks its notifications or they don't verify it server-side. Or maybe a poor implementation client-side, who knows.
