yeah man i agree with ya,, when i saw intel or microsoft , i thought what the hell since when microsoft started o build processors.. but if you compare from amd and intel i think intel because it has graphics, performance and gaming, but amd is only for gaming.

well if you are using windows 7 then you don't need any disc or something to format just go my computer and then right click and choose format.. if you don't have windows 7 then format with cd-rom it's the best choice.
