I don't quite understand what you mean but C and C++ are highly useful programming languages. Many games and programs are made in said language.

Football because I can catch and run. I'm a horrible thrower though. Also the sheer satisfaction of crippling someone mid game is awesome, but that's just me.

If you haven't already, try Dwarf fortress it's a fun game that relies solely on strategy. Also there is no known way to play, you always lose. After this I plan on playing Endless Online again, if that damn script kiddie stops DDoSing the server.
