That's a tough call though; some people might argue about what being an 'active poster' means, someone might have 100 posts and call themselves active, yet someone with 1,000 posts could do the same. You need to set boundries first. Good idea overall though, an incentive to keep posting.

No, it could just lead to people being pulled away from your own forum/site to another, bad idea in my opinion. If you wanted to, you could make people who want to advertise competing sites pay to advertise on your site.

You don't know that you don't have any viruses at all, I'm pretty confident if you scanned away with several different tools, you'd find some form of infection. Malware Bytes Anti Malware is pretty good for searching out infections. Scan with that, and you'll most likely find something.

No, Windows updates for me. I have automatic updates enabled which runs at 7AM every morning (I'm always on at that time). Currently I'm fully up-to-date, both hardware and software, that is.

I'm guessing you're not very familiar with Windows' PC's in that case. Rest assured, they have PLENTY of viruses, trojans, worms, rats, etc around. Increasing by the day.
