RE: The Move to SimplyGFX I haven't been here for Graphics Chan, but yes it does sound like a rip off of 4chan. It was probably a smart idea to switch to SimplyGFX. This sounds a lot more professional and I'm sure the domain will attract users itself, let alone the forum.

I'm sure you're thinking about the members activity, yes, that could be a problem. However, if you look on the other side, group creators I'm sure will have the ability to recruit other members from other forums to come here and battle. Don't start like so many groups, start 2-3 as a first...

I design all of my web designs and forum skins in Photoshop, I then slice the files and after that, I go into Dreamweaver and code it accordingly.

Lighting here is pretty good, however I'm not a fan of the background as it's just a solid color. I think you should expand the size of your signatures. Text could use some work, but it looks fine where it's placed.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I'll give it a go... Let a few members make some groups, make them official groups on the forum with their own userbar and section, and battle other groups? This could help out the forums by having others apply, and people may invite friends over...

I owned a graphics forum, I shut it down for my own reasons. I'm currently a Moderator on a very big game hacking community, with a good 455,000 members and growing. They get about 2k unique hits daily, the most we've ever had in a day was 5k.
