Want to start playing LoL

I'm currently interested in starting LoL, I have no idea what the game is or what it's about but see/know a lot of people playing it.
Any tips/tricks? Thanks for advice in advance.

Even though you're banned, another newbie might still see this thread.

So here's some advice:

Play. No master has fallen from the sky yet, play more and you improve.

Do not go ham on kills. It's mostly even better to kill minion than to try to kill another champion.

Do NOT walk alone, you WILL die.

If someone has questions, just ask

Play a champion you wont find fun and once you get the hang of the game play real people instead of bots as youll get more points to buy runes etc. Google guides and watch youtube videos for whatever champion you decide to play and yea.

spam 5v5 with friends that are already playing or learn to lvl 30 and then if you fell good try to do some ranked
