I got Blops2 after school today, dont get home until 7 to play it. Multiplayer is down. Can't even system link. What the fuck? I only got the game to play multiplayer. (My brother plays campaigns for me.)

Anyone know why?

And does anyone know how to get Nuketown 2025?

It's not down. Just keep trying to connect.

I heard they were down. Not sure.
About Nuketown 2025, unless you preordered it, there's no way right now that you can get the map. But I'm pretty sure they'll sell it in a DLC pack later.

Just be patient, Geez. A newly released game with millions of people trying to connect at once, I don't know about you but my internet/servers certainly cannot handle that.

Wait 10-15 minutes, Try again.

That's poor business to not be prepared for millions of people trying to play.

But it finally started working. And Nuketown is taking ages to download (still pending).

I would say the same thing but that pretty much happens to every new game that millions of people try to play all at once when it is first released. For example it happened with Diablo 3 when it first came out. Diablo 3 was worse though because you can't play single-player without being connected to their servers.

It's not poor business, Almost every new game that comes out nowadays has thousands upon thousands of people at once trying to connect.

"If you rely on technology too much, it will let you down sooner or later."

- Meaning: Treyarch was prepared for millions of people, Their servers might've been too. But technology fails, We can't do anything about it.

You agreed with me. Herp derp.

If they expect millions, then they should prepare for it. They should have expected tons of server traffic, and had a plan b in place.

They give you a code to redeem in the game case for Nuketown 2025.

That goes with being a CoD only gamer. What else would you expect?

Why are you posting low quality, offtopic replies in my thread?

You can call posts in a thread low quality or even flaming. But almost always your definition of "off-topic" is misused since they are always aimed at replies that have something to do with the topic.

Just because you don't like the post doesn't mean it is off-topic.

And then there are posts which are simply tangents...for example my post right here and your post as well.

So true.

Sucks for you, 'cause I could play it perfectly fine 15 minutes after midnight.

They were doing updates to the servers. Every console was effected.

Next time, try not to bitch.

Not PC though. They finally got dedicated servers for PC. They haven't used dedicated servers for PC since CoD 1 I think.
