Free $129.99 Headset!

Ok maybe I was lying a bit in the title but still read below

Ok, so I bought these G35 when I was serious about the whole gaming thing. They're proper bad ass headphone, 7.1 surround sound which actually work! and there Logitech xD and a bunch of other stuff you wont be interested about.

Well i started downloadin some tunes and listenin to them as you do with tunes, and I started hearing this buzzing in my right ear.

So I was like yer ok, need to get onto Logitech about this because they are only about 8 months old.

Anyways they were really easy to deal with and happily said "ok we'll replace them".

Later I found out that it wasnt actually the headset, it was this crappy mp3 i downloaded, and was badly distorted and the sound was shit.

So now I have a new set of headphone on their way to my house, and will be here within about 5-8 days. Best of all they dont even want me to give them the "broken" headset back!

So if anyone wants some crazy ass G35s let me know as ill be selling my spare soon

They asked for a photo of the headset and a copy of the reciept, so theres a slight problem there.

What he did is called PID'ing. Some people call it 'SE' but really, it's just telling them your headsets broken, and they replace it. Little or no SE involved at all. I'm surprised no one has heard about this around here, especially since that's all they talked about in the Human manipulation/Social engineering forum over at HackForums...

But I didnt realise it was just the MP3 that I was playing that was causing the vibrations.

TBH I rarely spend time at HF, its really cluttered and alot of the mods adbuse their rights.

And yer im effectivly SEing or PIDing but I didnt realise until after I got the new headset.

So unintentional SEing / PIDing.

I've got G35, had it for a couple of months now. I prefer this to all of you members, listening to music & Browsing the forums with the headset, Is better than porn!
