Both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs contributed much to the world of technology. Both are great people and will be remembered.

But who do you think is most noteworthy?

Bill Gates all the way, he's donated a shitload of money to good causes.
 
Steve Jobs died, so therefore he hasn't done much in the past few months. Bill Gates.

Some apples are quite delicious, though. Apple products taste too metallic though. You can't eat that!
 
They both have there benefits, but in the longrun Bill Gates has been around a lot longer and has done many things that Steve Jobs hasn't.
 
Yea I'd have to go with Bill Gates he's done more plus I'm not really a fan of apple. Pc > Mac
 
I'm not sure about which one I'd vote for, but I'd say Bill Gates even though Steve Jobs have contributed too.
But, we have to remember that Bill Gates worked with Steve Jobs for a while.

Not my fault that Bill Gates is way more awesome than Steve Jobs. I was hoping some devoted Apple fan would be here and start debating us. =d

They've been around for the same amount..
They used to work together at Apple. There was an argument, and in the end Gates left the company, took Jobs' idea (the first ever OS with a GUI) and released it under the name Windows.

He's going to be giving so much to the science community soon. Our advancements are going to be sped up so much with his investments, and creations.

Jobs just created Macs. Gates created a whole different side to technology and science.

Gates has already spent around $30b and is close to curing Malaria, and Jobs should be owed more credit then just 'he created macs'.
 
Bill Gates is an inventor, Steve Jobs is an innovator.

There's a difference, and I don't believe you can compare and contrast two people who didn't have the same job.

I'm on vacation. I was at the 49er game. Steve Wozniak is the only person who innovated at Apple. They haven't invented a single thing since he left. Steve Jobs was just the face of the company. Woz was the true genius.
