PayPal has now been removed from VIP payment options. This is something unwanted but something necessary. They have constant issues with their service, limiting, disabling and removing money from accounts. I found this to be outrageous. They also can be used to handle fraudulent payments from compromised accounts, which is not safe for the website or me.

We still accept these types of payments:
  • Alertpay
  • Moneybookers
  • Liberty Reserve
If you are using a credit card, you can use it through Moneybookers and Alertpay.

Most webhosting providers do not accept PayPal, they mainly accept Credit Card payments, thus using PayPal would be futile.

Whao, that means i bought it JUST in time!

I guess it's not good that you guys can't use paypal anymore, but i had perfect timing :p

RE: VIP - Not accepting PayPal

Good up-date! :) I like this, even though I've been using paypal all my time on computers.

RE: VIP - Not accepting PayPal

Perhaps you should set up a guide to transfer money from paypal to something like alertpay for this reason.

Yeah seriously. I've used PayPal for a long time now. Not once have I been limited.

RE: VIP - Not accepting PayPal

Yeah same here I've had a paypal account for over 10 years now, not limited once, I've done almost 100,000 in transactions and I've had a few problems with money, but never screwed with my money, removing limits and whatnot, all you have to do is verify your account with a bank account, how hard is that, If your users are sending you fraud here, than you need to ban them in the first place, one thing to do is make them send it as a gift, and usually will not cause any problems.

RE: VIP - Not accepting PayPal

I agree on this. Paypal has to improve a lot more.

RE: VIP - Not accepting PayPal

I think the problem is that many people nowadays have stolen Paypals. If things are purchased with a stolen Paypal, not only does that cause problems and issues with the recipient's Paypal, but the website it was for in the first place as well.
I have made an exchanging thread to help out users get funds in different payment processors in the service offerings section.
Good choice, The Elite.

Paypal is very bad in my opinion, if they don't improve people will stop using it.
