9 Year Old Stabbed To Death By 12 Year Old

A 12-year-old boy has stabbed to death a 9-year-old boy at a playground in Kentwood, MICHIGAN. The older boy pleaded not guilty to the act, despite turning himself in to the police.

Four kids were on the playground when the 12-year-old pulled a knife and stabbed the younger boy in the back.

Police has identified the boy as Jarmion Lawhorn, and he is set to be tried as an adult, local WoodTV reported.

The motive for the stabbing is currently being established. Lawhorn was detained for questioning, pleading not guilty to a murder charge, according to his lawyer, as cited by AP.

The lawyer also stated that he might seek psychological evaluation of his client to check if he can stand trial.
