Differences Between Antivirus and Antimalware Softwares
Today, I will be explaining the differences between two software's. The first being, antivirus software, and the second being, antimalware/spyware software. I am sure that you have mixed these software types with each other when carrying on a conversation, flaming others, or whatever you were conversing about. Most people confuse Malwarebytes with this software and claim that it can remove viruses, which, by the way, is not true at all. An antivirus and an antimalware program are used for three different types of removals, and you shouldn't get any of the two or three if you categorize antispyware by itself.Learning about Antivirus Software for Computers:
To begin, you should understand the basic differences of each. Antivirus (or "AV" for short) is a computer software which is used to prevent, detect, and/or remove malicious software. Antivirus software's offer many features such as real-time protection, constant updates, scanning, firewalls, secured web browsers, and also top of the line protection which could be used universally (with all operating systems). Also, most of the features for A.V software's are independent of each other. If a feature of your A.V. doesn't work, the program will continue to work, even if one of it's components do now. You can, however, repair it for it to continue running normally. There are also many A.V.s for slow and extended removals, those of which will be listed below.

Antimalware is a software which is used to detect and delete one or more types of malware which could be adware, spyware, trojans, and or even root-kits. These type of tools and software specialize in detecting and removing the most accurate types of malware on your computer. Antimalware software's do not offer all sorts of features such as Antivirus software's as they only specialize in detecting and removing the threat off of your operating system. An Antimalware is most commonly a scanner that is wanting to scan and delete all noticed threats. From that, Antimalware software doesn't offer real-time.
